Homework is back with a vengence...
So, if you've been checking compulsively for updates, many apologies, but I have been ridiculously occupied, both with music (six of my eleven combined activities, classes and lessons are music), and with homework, which, after two blissful weeks of absence, has made its presence known rather forcefully. I just got back from writing two spanish papers, and polishing off a long and tedious physics worksheet, and, dear god, English. For english, I wrote a song. Yup. About Cockroaches. Yup. It's a talking blues, and actually, hey, I could put it in here. Hang on...
I wanna tell you about a creature filthiest I know
He's climbing in your windows
And is walking through your doors
Eats your food while you're sleeping
He's sneaky but he aint shy
He was here before you're born, and
He'll be here when you die
CHORUS:Well I'm talking about a cockroach
And you know my words are true
Well I'm fed up and disgusted,
You know I got those Cockroach blues
When I get up in the morning
To pay my daily dues
Start putting on my clothes and
A roach crawled out my shoes
So I go into my kitchen,
I think I'll have myself a snack,
I look back in my bedroom
And one's laying in my rack
CHORUS
Those Beady little eyes, and all those squirming little legs
You can't never kill them, they just lay more eggs
They run off when the lights on You never see them by day
There's more of them than us, so listen to me say
CHORUS
When I come home in the evening
after workin hard all day
Whole families moving in,
Looking for a place to stay
There's a big papa bug,
Little mambug too,
and a whole bunch of little bugs
Climbing over my shoes,
CHORUS
So yeah, that's how I'm spending my fall term.
Oh, by the way, thanks to everyone who comments on here, I can't actually respond to your comments, via email, because when the software I'm using emails me your comment, that's all it gives me. Bummer, eh? Anyways, if you want me to have your email address, fire me an email, it's listed on my personal page. But again, thanks for letting me know you were here. Much love to all...
Nathan

I like the lyrics but, somehow, I think it's not the same without the guitar wailing behind it.
I'm sending Joseph's # to your email. Happy Happy late (late) birthday, too!
